Vintage CRAFTSMAN Original Crown Logo Metal 7 Drawer Machinist Tool Box Chest

Offered by the original owner, this toolbox was purchased in 1968 so it's more than 50 years old.  The toolbox is approximately 20 inches wide, 13 inches tall and 8.75 inches deep.  It is a very sturdy old metal machinist tool box with 7 pull-out drawers to accommodate tools of varying sizes.  The lifting handle on the top is in exceptionally good condition for the age.  The drawers open smoothly, but most of the felt lining is long gone.  Drawer pulls are all securely attached and in very good condition.  The hinge and the lid support are both in good condition and work very well.  The lid stays open without difficulty when the lid support is engaged.  The front tray is removable and can be partially slid into the slot near the bottom and used to hold parts or it can be fully inserted into the slot to be out of the way.  The latches and hasps all work well.  There is some surface rust and discoloration but NO DENTS.  There is no key.   There are two "pin straighteners" for electron tubes mounted on one of the left-hand drawers. The original Sears Craftsman crown logos are still attached and both are in very good condition.  Feel free to ask questions, and please review the photos carefully to best determine condition for your satisfaction.
