Description
Up for your consideration is a rare Vintage Boy Scouts BSA 67 Merit Badges Scout Patches 1950’s On Leather Vest. Condition is "Used". This is an amazing collection sewn on to a vintage leather vest. If I counted correctly there are a total of 67 individual patches. Includes 30 Type E Merit Badges from the 1950’s as well as other Rank and Camporee patches from 1954-1960. The vest is for a smaller boy. It measures about 19 inches pit to pit by 19 inches from the collar to the bottom of waist. The patches appear to all be sewn on. The patches are all in nice shape for their age. Solid leather vest with hand carved wooden buttons. The merit badges are Swimming (pink swimmer), Stamp Collecting, Soil and Water Conservation, World Brotherhood, Scholarship, Safety, Public Speaking, Public Health, Personal Health, Nature, Music, Marksmanship, Home Repairs, Hiking, First Aid, Firemenship, Electricty, Dog Care, Cooking, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the Home, Citizenship in the Community, Chemistry, camping, Bird Study, Baskerty, Reading, Lifesaving, Pets, and Coin Collecting. It includes all of the Rank patches. Lots of Camporee patches. This would make an amazing addition to any collection. It would look great framed. Very rare to find a item like this.
