Vintage 7 drawer machinist tool chest by Kennedy kits model 520

Description

Up for sale today is a vintage machinist tool chest by Kennedy model 520. It has seven drawers and all the drawers slide and open and close easily. The drawers are felt-lined But some of the felt is rather worn And we'll need a good cleaning. I'm not exactly sure of the age of this particular unit but Kennedy has been making these since the 50s I suspect this one was indeed made in the fifties judging from the age of the label. There is also some surface rust and in places the original Brown wrinkle finish is starting to wear thin. Please look closely at the photographs they will explain things better than I could have . The former owner's name is on a label affixed to the front of the box .
