This handpainted ceramic suggests the mythical love between what appears to be a devil-fish or dolphin and a young woman, the mother of a young merboy or mer-child.  This enchanted family is sprawled among figural rocks and shell with waves lapping up on either side. The woman is lovingly caressing both the submissive beast and the mer-child.
This is a handpainted ceramic sculpture.  There are a few chip repairs that blend well due to the nature of the paint process.
This sculpture measures roughly 17" long x 11" tall and the tallest and widest points.
Weighs roughly 9 lbs. before packing material.
