MIB 14" BETSY McCALL "JUST BETSY" Basic Doll & 14" JANE McCALL Basic Doll Cousin

Description

This is a lot of two 14" Robert Tonner "cousin" dolls:  (1) a basic Betsy McCall "Just Betsy" and (2) a basic Jane McCall, cousin to Betsy.
BETSY
:  Released in 1996, Betsy was sculpted and designed by award-winning NIADA artist and former fashion designer, Robert Tonner.  Originally introduced as a little 8" doll in 1952, this Betsy has been painstakingly designed to recapture the charm and spirit that captivated millions of McCall's mothers and daughters then.  She's in absolute mint condition and full-bodied hard vinyl, wearing her original playsuit/sunsuit, socks and black velveteen Mary Jane shoes; original hairstyle, identifying wrist tags, and comes in her original doll box (in very good condition).  The doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips -- only 5 places.  Betsy is marked on the back of her head "Betsy McCall by Robert Tonner, Copyright 1996 Gruner & Jahr USA Pub."
JANE
:  Jane (cousin to Betsy) was released in 1998, and also manufactured by the Robert Tonner Doll Company as a Betsy McCall Collector's Club Exclusive doll, available for purchase only to members at that time.  She is in absolute mint condition and full-bodied hard vinyl, wearing her original playsuit/sunsuit, socks and black velveteen Mary Jane shoes, original hairstyle, and comes in an original Tonner Jane box (in very good condition) which is mislabeled "Jane Red Riding Hood."  The doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders, hips and knees, i.e., in seven places.  Tonner's 14" Betsy clothing will fit this Jane doll, but Tonner also created a separate line of clothing for Jane herself.  Jane is marked on the back of her head "Copyright 1996 Robert Tonner."
Both dolls will be shipped together.
I will NOT split these dolls into two separate auctions, so please don't ask me to do so

The doll will ship within two business days from receipt of payment in full.
High bidder pays shipping which cost is based on package dimensions, weight, Zip Code destination and shipment method.  Seller will not be held responsible for loss of, or damage to, the package once it is turned over to the shipping company.  Seller will not, under any circumstances, refund purchase price or shipping charge(s) if damage/loss occurs during shipment.  Seller will obtain a tracking number, inform the Buyer of that, and should damage/loss occur during shipment, Seller will turn over the shipping paperwork/receipt(s) to the Buyer so the Buyer can make the appropriate claim with the shipping company.
