French Sea Shell Shell Work Inkwell
Found in  France, this looks to be a
handmade souvenir piece.  The inkwell
is surrounded by seashells and a
mother of pearl shell.
The base is also on a shell.
The hinge on the inkwell is broken
(please see photo #12).
Good condition for age.
A piece of French folk art.
