    Antique Steel Mill Worker’s Toolbox, Large, Heavy, Birmingham, Alabama, Coal Mines
    This is a wonderful, rare antique industrial, handmade toolbox used on a daily basis in Steel Mills and Coal Mines around Birmingham, Alabama in the early 1900’s. Grandpa’s large (16”x8”x7-1/2” / 13Lbs) toolbox was handmade using rivets. It remains in tip-top original condition with no repairs or modifications. Toolbox has been in storage for several decades. Comes from a non-smoking home. Grandpa worked in a steel mill and earlier in the coal mines and this was his toolbox he carried with him everyday.
