    DO NOT INSTALL A NON CODE-COMPLIANT HANDRAIL
    Building codes require  that the rail return to the wall, floor, or post.
    This 1 3/4"  handrail returns to the wall. ( Clothes will not catch on this handrail and cause a fall.)
    Please check with your local building department for compliance requirements.
    Custom fabricated  handrail is 24 inches long ( plus or minus 1 inch).
    Cast Iron Brackets are welded on at  approximately 5 inches from each end.
    2 inch clearance between wall and rail.
    Handrail is primed and then painted in a black metallic finish.
    Interior or exterior use.
    INSTALL A SAFE HANDRAIL THE FIRST TIME!.
    Proper installation requires that the handrail be installed from  34" to 38" above the front edge of the stair nosing.
